conscious consumption to support wellness

As cannabis continues to be legalized throughout the United States, more and more people are opening up to learning about its many health benefits. In recent years, cannabis has evolved from a misunderstood plant to a celebrated ally for wellness, offering a natural, holistic approach to supporting both physical and mental health. I have a deep respect for this plant and believe in its ability to improve overall wellness when approached consciously. It is important to note that I'm always referring to legal cannabis, and you should be mindful of state laws that vary.

All mammals have an endocannabinoid system that helps maintain homeostasis, or balance, of our bodies. The ECS plays a crucial role by helping us regulate various physiological processes such as mood, pain, metabolism, and immune function. By stimulating or modulating the ECS, cannabis can help restore homeostasis, potentially alleviating symptoms like inflammation, pain, anxiety, and more.

Through helping my mother obtain her medical card as a natural pain alternative, I learned, firsthand, that there is a huge lack of patient education. Even in states where cannabis is legal, both recreationally and medicinally, most doctors aren't able to help patients navigate the extremely complex world of cannabis, leaving them confused and overwhelmed with where to start. I received my certificate in cannabis education to help those who need extra support as they begin their journey with plant medicine. Whether you're interested in integrating cannabis into your routine or not, my offerings are designed to meet you where you're at on your wellness journey.

"The evidence is overwhelming that marijuana can relieve certain types of pain, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms caused by such illnesses as multiple sclerosis, cancer and AIDS — or by the harsh drugs sometimes used to treat them. And it can do so with remarkable safety. Indeed, marijuana is less toxic than many of the drugs that physicians prescribe every day."
